Delicious & Easy Thyroid-Friendly Apple Crisp Recipe

They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away! Well, what about an apple crisp?! Try this sweet, thyroid-friendly recipe.

Ingredients

6-8 … Granny Smith applies, peeled & sliced
¾ cup … Brown sugar
½ cup … Flour
½ cup … Oats
¾ tsp … Cinnamon
¼ tsp … Nutmeg
4 oz … Coconut oil
¾ cup … Walnuts, chopped

Apple crumble cake

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375ºF. Grease a 9 inch round Pyrex pie dish with coconut oil.

Place sliced and peeled apples in bottom of pie dish.

In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour, oats, cinnamon, nutmeg and coconut oil. Mix well. Add the walnuts and mix to combine. Sprinkle over the apples.

Bake for 30–40 minutes.
